Large parts of North Nottinghamshire are still covered by Sherwood Forest, which is not the great forest it was 100′s of years ago, but still beautiful.

Nowadays Sherwood Forest isn’t really one large forest but a collection of smaller forests, woods and parks, like – Clumber Park, Newstead Abbey, Rufford Park and The Major Oak visitor center and park.
